    We love this bread. I have tried several other recipes and this is the best. At the present I have to use and hand mixer, but will be getting a stand mixer and it will be a lot easier. It makes great toast and made french toast one morning.

    Hi there.I was wondering if i could replace the oil with more water? Unfortunately oil doesn’t agree with me.Same with melted butter(vegan butter 🙂 Hope to hear from you soon

      Hi Renae,

      Thanks for asking.

      Unfortunately, water isn’t a substitute for oil. Another alternative would be coconut oil.

      It’s mild, so it may suit you better.

      Unsweetened applesauce is a great oil or butter substitute in baking, cup for cup. May want to reduce honey slightly to account for added sugar content of applesauce.
